Foot Locker Murals
Foot Locker Store Berlin - Tauentzienstraße
In summer 2022 I had the pleasure of creating four huge artworks at the new Foot Locker store on Tauentzienstraße in Berlin. The four artworks are spread over two floors inside and outside the store in the entrance area. Two murals were created with the cooperation partner Adidas. To create the illustrations, I first made rough colour sketches in Adobe Fresco and then finalised them in Illustrator. The final colours are a combination of Foot Locker's brand colours and my own colour palette.
In addition to the overall theme of Berlin, each illustration picks up on individual trends such as metaverse, fashion and sport. For me, Berlin is reflected in the people who are spread across the various illustrations. They should reflect the freedom, diversity, love and art that the city represents for me. Small details like the graffiti on the clothes are meant to remind us of the urban cityscape of the capital.
