SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN FOR KRISENCHAT.DE // EXCLAMO

Krisenchat.de is a non-profit project of exclamo.org. There, children and young people who find themselves in a personal crisis situation receive psychosocial help and advice around the clock from a professional team of more than eighty therapists, psychologists, educators, and social workers*. In order to be able to help those seeking help in a contemporary, low-threshold and above all discreet manner, all they have to do is reach for their smartphone and visit the page krisenchat.de. Using the number stored there, they can contact one of our experts via Whatsapp around the clock free of charge. Right now it is more important than ever to give a helping hand to those affected, because as a result of the initial restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19, there has been a significant increase in cases of domestic violence. In order to give exclamo a voice, I was asked to interpret the topic "domestic violence" by means of artwork and to creatively implement relevant statistics for the affected people. The resulting artwork will be shared in form of a social media campaign to draw attention to "krisenchat.de".
